Hi, I’m Kennedy!

My love for flowers began in my grandma’s coastal cottage garden, where I watched irises, tulips, and daffodils bloom from bulbs she planted. Pure magic.

That magic stayed with me as I began arranging flowers of my own over a decade ago — taking classes, sourcing seasonal blooms from local growers, and designing for friends, family, and, let’s be honest, myself.

Before long, friends of friends were asking me to create florals for their weddings and events. With their encouragement, Folk was born. Now, I have the privilege of designing flowers that celebrate life’s biggest days. I feel endlessly grateful I get to.

When I’m not designing, you’ll likely find me hanging out with my husband KB and our yellow lab Biscuit, planning an elaborately themed dinner for my cookbook club, or sending too many texts in the group chat with my girls.

Full Service

Investment starting at $4,000

This is our signature, white-glove experience, including bespoke floral design, creative direction, delivery within 100 miles, custom installations, on-site setup and styling, repurposing, and end-of-night breakdown. Our curated rental collection, including candles, is also available.

Partial Service

Investment starting at $2,500

This offering includes floral design in our signature style, focused on personal flowers and select ceremony and reception pieces, with delivery within the Triangle miles and on-site placement to create a cohesive, elevated look without full-service installation or breakdown.

This offering is designed for intimate celebrations and includes a curated menu of our most popular designs within your color palette, ideal for personal flowers or a small number of arrangements, with local pickup or delivery available.

The Process

  • 01 — Inquiry & Initial Review

    You submit your date, venue, estimated guest count, and floral vision through our inquiry form. We’ll send over our client guide with pricing and our rental inventory and we’ll schedule a brief discovery call.

  • 02 — Discovery Call

    We connect to discuss your overall vision, event scale, and floral priorities. This conversation allows us to understand your aesthetic and provide guidance on maximizing your investment.

  • 03 — Custom Proposal

    Following our call, you’ll receive a tailored floral proposal outlining recommended designs. To reserve your date, our signed floral contract and 50% retainer are required.

  • 04 — Design Development

    Once booked, we refine your design direction through a curated look-book and collaborative planning process over coffee on us. Together, we’ll finalize floral selections, installation details, and overall styling to ensure a cohesive vision.

  • 05 — Final Details & Installation

    30-60 days before your wedding, we confirm final counts and logistics. On your event day, our team handles delivery, installation, and styling so every floral detail feels seamless.

Q + A

  • Our full service wedding minimum investment begins at $4,000 whereas our á la carte weddings have no minimum investment.

  • We recommend inquiring for your wedding 9-12 months for peak season or 6-9 months for off season. We take on a limited number of weddings each season to ensure a high quality, personal experience.

  • Full service weddings include custom design development, access to our rental inventory, installation, on-site styling, relocation, and breakdown.

    A la carte weddings are best suited for couples seeking personal florals and select smaller pieces for delivery.

  • Folk Florals is based in Wendell, North Carolina, and serves the greater Triangle area, including Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill.

    Travel is available upon request.
